Frankly speaking, at the very outset, I must confess that without your generosity and uninterrupted support, we at Sai Anna Laxmi Foundation, could not have done what we managed to do during this extremely difficult time during the last financial year 2020-2021 which just ended a month ago. Your kind gesture to help and encourage us, in our activities that were primarily focussed to alleviate avoidable human sufferings during this pandemic, is indeed a God sent. I am grateful to you.

Hope this finds you and family keeping well.
The full impact of this pandemic is still unfolding and the painful economic consequences are now permeating into the communities of the vulnerable poor, living on the edges. Our activities for the year 2019-20 were substantially carried out well without interruptions until for the last about ten days of March 2020 when the Government announced the lockdown.

We are into Phase-2 of this protracted lock down having gone through the last 21 days of isolation during Phase-1 which ended on this 14th. All the schools are closed and so are our kitchens - except Bhubaneswar and Bangalore where there are some...

Dear Friends,
I am now in Kerala for the last about a week trying to understand the devastation of the floods and the plight of the people directly affected by this calamity. You all must have read many reports and seen many pictures over the TV as well as on the social media. I shall therefore spare you the agony of looking at these pictures once more.
