- WHO WE ARE -
We, at Sai Anna Laxmi Foundation, believe in absolute trust and transparency in all our activities. That is the hall mark of our character and values.
We are conscious that our donors supporting us with their generous contributions expect the last rupee to be spent judiciously to achieve our mission "Free Nutritious Food for a Cause". Therefore, all our internal processes and decision making are tuned to this basic tenet at the very grassroot levels. Identification of real beneficiaries, in absolute need, is a well embedded rigour within Sai Anna Laxmi Foundation.
All our donations are tracked meticulously. We accept contributions only from Indian Nationals. We have consciously refrained from soliciting or accepting any donations from any foreign sources because we strongly feel that our poverty – malnutrition and hunger - should not be exported. We, as citizens, have the responsibility to address this.
Similarly, all our expenditures are thoroughly vetted. We keep our administration and fund-raising costs at optimum levels to ensure that every rupee received as contributions is conserved for the cause we serve. We comply with the generally accepted accounting principles and the applicable mandatory Indian accounting standards issued by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, in the preparation of our financial statements.
Our Financial Statements are audited by M/s K. VENKATACHALAM AIYER & CO., a reputed and traditional firm of Chartered Accountants (FRN 004610S) with a legacy of over 60 years in public accounting.
